[ there is no way chu wanning can admit to liking mo ran, especially when dealing with the harsh reality of a new day. (especially before coffee.) they're so vastly different, mo ran so open and demonstrative, and chu wanning so cold and uncooperative, that he can't see why mo ran is still here, let alone practically clinging to him.

he ends up on the counter before he realizes it, startled slightly by it. mo ran is insatiable, kissing him like this. shameless once again comes to mind, but he can't say it again since mo ran loves to point out that he is, and quite content to be so, it seems. not that he can protest, with mo ran's lips right there, practically begging for something deeper; chu wanning is aware enough that if he opens his mouth to protest, mo ran will just take advantage. that's how he's always been.

(and chu wanning likes that, this cheeky, stubborn boy finding ways to get what he wants, even when the odds are stacked against him. he'd despaired over his student in the beginning, considered him hopeless, but even then, mo ran had intrigued him. now, he can't imagine life without mo ran in it.)

any thought of staying quiet and not giving mo ran a chance to kiss him any deeper flies out his head when mo ran speaks again. teasingly, and chu wanning knows it, but his annoyance rises, and he snaps without thinking: ]

Who likes you?! [ chu wanning does. ] What do you mean, nothing indecent about this? It's morning! That should be reserved for the dark, in bed.
